Early 18th century New England ladderback armchair with sausage turned arms and mushroom handholds. Ash with maple slats and an old splint seat. Dry, oxidized, unpainted surface with good color and raised grain. 43" tall, 16.5" seat height.

18th century pine and oak fireside settle bench in dry, unpainted attic surface. 72" wide x 13" deep x 60" tall.

Pair of early 20th century Pilgrim-style slatback armchairs made of maple. These chairs, in form and in size, match example #493, page 81 in Wallace Nutting's "Supreme Edition, General Catalog" originally published in 1930. Brown painted surface. 47" tall. Chair on the right is SOLD.

Wood and iron rush/splint lighting standard. Handwrought spring operated rush holder incorporating two opposing splint holders all terminating in nicely executed rattails. Mounted atop an oak X-base with a pine upright. Old, dry, natural surface. An unusual form! Overall height is 52.25".

18th pine fireside settle in original, crusty reddish brown paint. Underseat storage is accessed behind two doors in front panel below seat. Very rare, narrow size, sturdy and sittable. A truly ancient looking piece! 42" wide x 15" deep x 69.5" tall.
