19th century carved oak, figural nutcracker of a VERY cranky gentleman! Signed "J. Martin Parame". 7.25" tall.


18th century oak slant lid Bible or desk box. Original slant hinges with spade terminals at both ends and a truly wonderful iron shield-form lock escutcheon! Wrought nails throughout. Bookrest at bottom of lid and thumb moulding around lid perimenter. 25 7/8" wide x 17.25" deep x 9.75" tall.

Early 19th century unpainted pine canted scrub box with an integral washboard and a drainhole in one end. 9" long x 4.75" wide x 2.5" tall.



19th century New England sign on board "Record and Hooker". Gilt letter on a black sanded ground, signed by maker "Derby". Excellent original condition. 37.5" x 7.75".

Early 19th century hanging pine shelf with handwrought islet hangers, scalloped end boards and fascia. Dry, nicely oxidized, never painted surface. Jackplane marks on all surfaces. 17"wide x 8.25" deep x 9" high + hangers.

19th century redware slip decorated pitcher. 7" tall.

18th/19th century carved ivory wig scratcher. 15 3/8" long.


18th/19th century pewter hat-form inkwell with porcelain covered metal insert for ink. Base is 7 7/8" in diameter, 2.5" tall.
